My work explores ideas about the facade and the ways in which our interactions with the urban environment are fundamental to our sense of identity. Architecture is fundamental to our experience of place. It is through an ongoing conversation between the identities of the people that inhabit a place and the facades of its buildings that a unique narrative of place is formed. My final work explored the facades importance within the identity of Brixton's Central Square. Raleigh Hall is a listed Georgian building in a state of decay; considering this and its relationship to other points of narrative in the square, resulted in a design of a cinematic architectural experience through a series of follies.
