FdA Specialist Make Up Design: Fashion and Editorial
Art has always been my favourite subject at school, my mind always felt at ease. I felt I could explore what I loved most. My inspiration comes from everywhere and anything, different cultures, artist techniques, visiting galleries, and around the world. I loved drawing, painting, playing with different materials, focusing on textures, colour and closely looking at detail. I decided to shift my talents from the canvas to the face. I joined LCF to explore this love of make up. Over the two years I felt I have developed a strong technique that is both intuitive and precise. My creative make-up reflects my artistic sensibility, be it very natural or using more dramatic effects. Working with different students within the college and outside the college has helped me build a close network; the experience of working on different shoots has been brilliant. My portfolio showcases different themes and a variety of looks. In the near future, I aim to develop a long-term career in the makeup industry as well as being internationally known.
