BA (Hons) Fashion: Styling & Photography
Fashion Photography is my validation for being creative, I utilise it as a purposeful tool or vehicle through which I can communicate ideas and concepts that are personal to me, whilst creating imagery that both conforms to and attempts to push the boundaires of what is accepted commercially. Aesthetically my work is sensitive and thoughtfully approached allowing for the subtleties of human emotion and expression to provide it with strength and imapct. Inspired by americas deep south, science fiction, space exploration, Roland Barthes, music and surf culture, common themes in my work are experience, interaction and escapism. I like to work on many formats, including digital, 35mm and mediuam format polaroid.
